WakeEDI
Enterprise loads, in automatically
WakeEDI is the trading-partner gateway. It parses, maps, and routes X12 EDI transactions between enterprise shippers and the Wake platform — so the biggest customers on the network can tender freight the way they already do, and FreightWake answers in the same language, automatically.

How it works
Tenders come in as X12
Enterprise shippers send a 204 load tender over AS2 or SFTP. WakeEDI receives it, validates the envelope, and maps the X12 segments into a clean FreightWake load — origin, destination, stops, references, and rate.
The crew works it like any load
Once mapped, the load is indistinguishable from one quoted by email. Intake prices it, Lane books the carrier, and the rest of the crew runs it through delivery — no special handling, no rekeying.
Status flows back automatically
WakeEDI returns the acknowledgements the shipper expects: a 990 to accept or decline the tender, a 997 functional acknowledgement, and 214 shipment-status messages as the load moves. The shipper’s system stays in sync without a human touching it.
With FreightWake
WakeEDI is the on-ramp for enterprise freight. It turns a raw 204 into a load the crew can quote and book, and turns the crew’s progress back into the 990 / 997 / 214 messages the shipper’s system is waiting for. To the customer it looks like flawless EDI compliance; behind it, an AI crew is doing the work.
